By spending a certain amount of time at Turiba, you will be able to use international opportunities and obtain a diploma from the Murcia Catholic University in Spain in journalism, public relations and communications.

Our Public Relations Programme has been recognised as excellent by experts and employers across Latvia and abroad. We have a lot of friends and partners, including such globally recognised authorities in the area of public relations as Dennis Wilcox from the US and Anne Gregory from the UK. You will be given an opportunity to work together with them.

The everyday life of a public relations professional is dynamic — you will be able to meet different people and realise your own creative ideas — fashion shows, concerts, sporting events. You will be shaping the business image, assisting politicians and ministers in relating to the public and implementing projects on behalf of different non-governmental organisations.

In Study Year 1 you’ll be able to participate in actual projects, create the events to be broadcast by news programmes and discussed on social networks by your friends. Since day one on the programme you will have the option of working for the student business company INTuribaPR or to establish your own business at the Turība Business Coworking Space. a You will be assisted by practitioners from Swedbank, news portal Delfi, well-respected public relations and communications companies like Hauska&Partners, PRAE Public Relations and others. Among others you will complete such courses as Music as a Means of Communication and Public Relations Campaigns.

In Study Year 2 you will collaborate with the public relations practitioners all over the world. You will have the option of joining the Erasmus programme or complete a traineeship in one of the countries in Europe.

In Study Year 3 you will specialise in either Event Organisation or Style and Fashion. The training sessions are led by experienced practitioners from Burda salons and public event organisation companies.

In Study Year 4 you will learn the subject of Crisis Communication. You’ll be writing a graduation paper that will also help you develop your career. Carrying out a research will be a good opportunity to learn about new enterprises, to meet people and find a good job.
