ADAPTRONICS
The Bachelor of Science in Adaptronics programme has been designed to prepare students to work in, or control engineering teams.
Our Electronics and electrical engineering technology programs prepare students with the underlying principles of how circuits work, learning how to develop and test system prototypes, the calibration of instruments or the preparation of systems reports.
This Bachelor study programme provides a blend of knowledge from electrical technologies and computer sciences focusing on state-of-the-art electrical technological equipment, including how to apply the latest automation devices in traditional electro-technical systems and microprocessor control systems.
The aim of the programme is to provide a professional education in Adaptronicsand prepare students for the workplace or for further studies at the Masters level.
Key features
- Progressive Research Based Learning: Students of RTU are encouraged to be involved in the activities under the control of Doctoral Researchers, with a belief that their minds will bring new dimensions to the research activities in the Faculty and add to their experience prior to entering the workforce.
Career Opportunities
Students completing the Bachelor in Adaptronics will have a fundamental working knowledge of the theoretical and practical issues related to the implementation of the various electrical technologies in differing economic sectors, automation principles and expected implementation.
The necessary expertise will be obtained to begin a practical and diverse career as technicians or controllers.
Successful Graduates may also continue studies in academic Master or professional higher education programmes (with the opportunity to obtain electrical engineer qualification).
